Dear Reader,This scene feels like what we once saw on a screen – when we started From The Vault SG last October, we never dreamed of pulling off an event of such a scale.But here we are today; with nothing but a shared dream to inspire and create, and a burning passion for the music that has been an integral soundtrack of our lives.As Taylor Swift once said, “Without your past, you could never have arrived— so wondrously and brutally, by design or some violent, exquisite happenstance… here.” FEVER DREAM HIGH in the quiet of the night you know that I caught it takes us back on a journey through Taylor’s Eras and the memories we shared as we grew up with her. The cassettes and posters you see on the walls celebrate the reclamation of Taylor’s music as her own, while the Message in a Bottle space encourages thought expression of what these lyrics and tunes mean to you. And with the Friendship Bracelet wall and Anti-Hero Mirror photo spot, we’ll just take it as a toast to our real friends.Much like a fever dream (albeit a good one), working on From The Vault SG and preparing for this exhibition has been truly the best kind of chaos. It still feels surreal that we get to do this, and we’re so grateful for the opportunity to build a little swiftie community of our own right here.This showcase is, at its core, a tribute to Taylor and the lifelong friendships we’ve found because of her — you’re not on your own, kid.
